Cerner is known in Kansas City and globally as a forward thinking healthcare company. They also are forward thinking about their campus. Cerner hired KC Restoration to finish their bronze elevator doors for a gleaming finish. They know that details count and hired us to keep their company’s campus looking its best. KC Restoration is glad to have one of Kansas City’s most notable companies as a client. We look forward to servicing all their future metal restoration needs.
We recently posted the work KC Restoration did at Westar Energy in Topeka, KS. They asked us to return and take care of some of the other details on their campus. Even though these fire department water standpipe connections are on the exterior of the building, the facilities manager wanted his entire building looking good. Our KC Restoration technicians cleaned, sanded, and coated these to give them a beautiful appearance.
These photos are before and after for a project Kone Elevator Company is working on for the Downtown Marriott. They asked if KC Restoration could transform a standard elevator position indicator into something elegant and classy to fit with the remodel project they are working on.
The before is an aluminum framed indicator, with a stainless steel insert. We refinished the aluminum frame with a black patina, then the stainless steel we refinished with a gun metal grey patina. The final piece they had us refinish a satin bronze insert with a rubbed oil bronze patina finish.
We love doing custom finishes and Kone Elevator Company has been a wonderful company to work with. From management to the elevator technicians, we all have a common goal, which is to provide great quality and customer service.
Customers have complimented the work that we do. You might think, “Hey, there are a million refinishers out there who say the same thing, so why should I go to KC Restoration for my metal?” the answer is simple: we want to hire veterans that have been wounded in the war and can’t get jobs anywhere else. If you want to go to metal refinishers that use the money just for their company, well, that’s your decision. If you want a metal refinisher who spends the money for the company, workers (including veterans), and the Wounded Warrior Project, it’s your choice!
Remember, the more work we have, the more veterans we can hire and the more we can donate to organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project and the Fisher House. Make a difference – let us refinish your metal!
