Want to see the finished product from KC Restoration’s recent video shoot? Here’s a link to the fabulous short video created by The Heisenbergs, videographers for the 2017 Kansas City Chamber’s Small Business of the Year and Mr. K Award competiton. We think you will be as impressed as we are!
What a week for KC Restoration! Alongside that interesting video shoot, we also got to welcome the team of KC Chamber judges to our shop and offices here in southern Olathe.
This esteemed group with years of experience leading, developing, and handling the challenges and opportunities of small businesses will be deciding the winner of this year’s Kansas City Chamber’s Small Business of the Year and Mr. K Award. We thank you all for taking the time from your busy schedules to be involved in this rewarding Celebrations process. And for spending the time with us to learn what KC Restoration is all about!
Our team enjoyed meeting you and answering your questions; Matt and Robert hope you love the bronze plaques they patina’d for you in the style of KC Restoration’s office sign. Want to know how they achieved the look? From flat sheets of brass, they applied darkening patina to the negative space highlighting the text of the sign and plaques. Then the dimensional effect at the corners was achieved by changing the direction of the metal’s grain.
KC Restoration was honored to be named one of the Kansas City Chamber’s Top 10 Small Businesses for 2017 yesterday at a wonderful reception held at the Faultless event space in the West Bottoms. We are so excited to be included in this valuable Small Business Celebration that so enriches the city’s business community, and we thank the Chamber members and staff for all the work you put into these recognitions each year. Thanks also to Enterprise Bank and Trust for sponsoring last night’s event. And our congratulations goes out to all the other Top 10 Small Businesses for all the hard work and efforts you make every day that lead to success individually and collectively for all of Kansas City.
