Have you ever thought of starting your own business? It can be a daunting path but can present so many rewarding opportunities to grow and connect. If you’d pulled up to KC Restoration’s front door some year back, you’d be looking in a garage to see the owners working hard on elevator doors and metal hoods. In the years since, we have been blessed with clients giving us opportunities to both earn their business and prove their loyalty to be well-founded. We’ve also got to welcome many new team-members to work and grow beside, and we’ve learned so much about this wonderful hometown of Kansas City and the countless people and organizations improving the city and supporting small businesses. Today, as we look back on our 7 years, we’re thankful for everyone who formed the threads in the tapestry of KC Restoration’s story.
These before and after photos show off KC Restoration’s recent work on a WWII veterans’ memorial plaque for Congregation Ohev Sholom in Prairie Village. Technicians refinished the brass and applied dark relief to the background, revitalizing a beautiful commemoration to the servicemen.
Kansas Citians know the holidays are approaching when trees are popping up in Union Station! As KC Restoration’s technicians have been completing stone refinishing work on the granite walls and transoms you can see in these photos, they also got a sneak peak behind the curtain. Check out the busy scene of staff decking the halls. Make plans to come by the station this Saturday for the Holiday Kick-off event with the lighting of the largest indoor holiday tree in the metro, riding the miniature train, and special performances by Harmonium, Quixotic, and more. You can get all the details for all the special events coming up at: https://www.unionstation.org/holidays/.
