First flight of Honor Flight KC’s season

Honor Flight logoEarlier this year, we proudly reported that every team member at KC Restoration made a contribution to help the local non-profit organization Honor Flight KC fulfill their goal of providing World War II and terminally ill veterans with free flights and tours of Washington DC’s memorials built to honor their service to our nation.

Today, we want to extend our best wishes for a safe trip and a rewarding experience for all the veterans and volunteers on the first flight of Honor Flight KC’s season. On May 19th, they will be heading from Kansas City to Reagan National Airport in DC. On their itinerary are visits to the WWII Memorial, the Air Force Memorial, the Korean, Vietnam, & Lincoln Memorials, as well as the Iwo Jima Memorial and the “Changing of the Guard” ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown. If you would like to welcome the veterans home from their trip, you are invited to join in at approximately 9pm at Terminal C, US Airways, Kansas City International Airport.

Thank you again to all our team members for supporting this wonderful cause, and for anyone newly learning about Honor Flight KC in reading this post, we encourage you to follow this link to learn more about how you too can help: www.honorflightkc.org.
