KC Restoration’s school supply drive has come to an end, and we want to send out a big thank you to everyone who donated for the twelve children receiving Freedom Fire Urban Ministries’ scholarships to attend Kansas City Christian School. Our team is overjoyed to get to be part of helping these students start their school year with all the needed supplies that will help them succeed.We are also happy to support such a great organization as Freedom Fire which is a place where people gather together to create life-long relationships based in trust, hope, and a whole lot of love. Their faith-based ministry has impacted kids from the urban core and made a big difference in many lives. Not only does Freedom Fire Ministries focus on giving kids a better, more fruitful education but continues with Outreach programs and 1-on-1 friendships built through Bible studies, mentoring, and activity groups. Every Friday night, Freedom Fire hosts a meeting for grade-schoolers through high schoolers where they spend time in fellowship with their peers and leaders. Their annual summer camp ministry is a great excitement for all the kids with time to go swimming, play games, and enjoy the great outdoors. Not only are the kids’ lives changed, but also the lives of every staff member and volunteer.
