1880s patina for Gieske Metal Fabricators

custom patina

When Gieske Metal Fabricators recently needed a patina finish to reflect the 1880s in a desk base and countertop, they contacted KC Restoration for a custom metal finish. Gieske was hired to fabricate the desk base and countertop out of both cold and hot rolled steel to match existing metalwork in Colby, Ks. It was KC Restoration’s pleasure to supply the patina finish that helped bring out the historic tradition the town wanted and Gieske used so well in blending together historic and modern elements to create a sleek desk we just had to show off.
