It can be easy to overlook these seemingly small details when it is these details that make all the difference.
The elevator is one of the most widely used features of any commercial building, yet even with this much use, people tend to forget just how important it is to take care of keeping it clean. Yet when people using an elevator see it as dirty, they are only going to contribute to this by feeling comfortable with littering or leaving dirty, greasy fingerprints. Items Needed:
- Microfiber towels
- Dawn or a similar, very mild detergent
- 2 buckets
- Use a very small amount of Dawn cleaning detergent in a bucket of water.
- Dampen microfiber towel from the first bucket of water & Dawn cleaner.
- With a damp (not dripping wet) microfiber towel, wipe the surface clean.
- Fill a second clean bucket with water. Dampen second microfiber.
- With the second damp microfiber, wipe clean.
- Dry all excess moisture from the metal with a clean dry microfiber towel.
- Chemicals
- Stainless steel spray cleaner
- Windex, ammonia or peroxide based products
- Any abrasive cleaners
- Abrasive pads or cloths
