Now Hiring: Experienced Metal Refinisher
We’re a local, family-owned refinishing company with a culture of care, fairness, and friendship. We work primarily for commercial property managers or contractors who are renovating historical buildings or maintaining busy, modern spaces. Someone who takes great pride in their craftmanship, enjoys increasing their skills, and working on a variety of sites and projects in the KC metro will be a good fit.

Key Responsibilities:
- Metal refinishing (buffing, stripping, sanding, masking, filling, spraying, oxidizing).
- Work safely with solvents and chemicals and hand & power tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment that follows all OSHA standards
- Expand your expertise with additional skills, methods, tools, and technology.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license; provide driving record; drive a reliable vehicle for work.
- Comfortable with heights (ladders/scaffolding) and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to kneel, squat, bend, climb, lift & carry equipment up to 60 pounds unassisted.
- High level of attention to refinishing detail and workspace cleanliness.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, diagrams and job instructions printed in English.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years working or training in restoration or refinishing (especially with metal).
- High school diploma or Equivalency Degree/GED.
- Painter or spraying experience of any type.
- Communicate well, solve problems, overcome frustration, and learn from mistakes.
Schedule & Work Environment :
- Technicians typically work nights after office buildings are closed (generally 5pm to 2am).
- There may be daytime work on site or in our shop
- Overtime hours/pay may be available during busy seasons.
- Our work is both inside and outdoors according to the project and season.
- Our technicians prefer the variety of work and off-hours instead of the daily grind in a corporate environment.
- Our jobs include (awesome) refinishing projects that we are proud to be selected for.
- Rare special projects may require company-paid travel out of state or overnight.
- Our technician team is hard working, highly skilled and respected by the entire company,
