As summer continues to heat up, we hope you’ll get a chance to visit some cool places. Speaking of “cool” places, one of KC Restoration’s staff recently went on a family vacation to Dogwood Canyon, in Lampe, Missouri. You can read all about KC Restoration work at Dogwood Canyon on our blog here.
Our staff member wanted to share the pictures and impressions from the visit. We hope you enjoy them!
“I always try to include a stop at Dogwood Canyon when I visit the Ozarks. I am so happy that they have topped off their beautiful nature destination with another great waterfall, this one spilling down next to the brand new mill, where there’s a wonderful restaurant and currently some exhibits on loan from Top of the Rock’s Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum. Their decision to add a lower row of windows so visitors could enjoy the views to the fullest made for the perfect touch, and KC Restoration’s patina still blends the additional row in seamlessly.”
Isn’t the treehouse wonderful? If you want to learn more about the Dogwood Canyon’s treehouse made by/for the Animal Planet TV show “Treehouse Masters” click here.
We love the beautiful new mill, which actually blends in with the surrounding architecture and buildings much like our patinas blend the new windows with the older ones. If you want to learn more about the mill click here.
KC Restoration hopes what wherever your travels take you this summer you have a safe trip and wonderful time. And if you have any projects that are as impressive as the windows at Dogwood Canyon you know about, let us know!
